Deisis Wood Panel Icon of Christ and Saints.  The Deisis center icons are full figured icons of Christ with the Virgin on His right  and John the Baptist on His left.  Clockwise from 12 the following saints:  (1) St Paraskeva (2) St Demetirus (3) Simeon with the Christ Child (4) St John the Baptist (5) Saint Andrew and (6) St George.  The top portion is a floral motif typical of Byzantine art from Constantinople. This unque panel contains serigraph icons on a wood panel made in Greece.  A very special icon panel.   15 1/4"x8 1/2"
