The careful attention to detail in designing a rosary of such importance equals the direction given to Saint Catherine by the Blessed Virgin Mary. Here, even the beads become real Miraculous Medals, as each tiny surface includes the words, in Latin, Saint Catherine saw appearing in the hands of the Holy Virgin: “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.” This rosary is the result of the search for aesthetical and stylistic perfection which is typical of each Ghirelli work.
